Effect of inbreeding on the quality traits of squash fruit

Yield and related traits with fruit quality for six squash introductions Cucurbita moschata Duch. from open pollination (S0) and their respective inbreeding lines (S>1 and S2) was measured. It was determined that inbreed accompanied by selection didn't cause negative effects of depression in yield and agribusiness characteristic: plant production, wall fruit thickness , color of the fruit flesh and dry matter in fruit.
