Global overview of the conservation of migratory Arctic breeding birds outside the Arctic

This report focuses on migratory waterbirds that breed in Arctic, as defined by CAFF member states, and migrate to winter quarters outside CAFF countries. It investigates those international mechanisms (conventions, agreemements, programmes and actions plans), both legally binding and voluntarily, which are relevant to the conservation of migratory Arctic waterbirds and habitats throughout their non-breeding ranges.
