Hence, field education is viewed as an integral and valuable part of the education and preparation of students for practice. The research objective of this study was to undertake a qualitative exploratory and descriptive study of the perceptions of field instructors in terms of the current state of social work practice training. The data was collected through semi-structured interviews with field instructors.
