Technological progress and achievements of Cenipalma for the palm sector in 2008
The Corporation Center for Research on Palm Oil (Cenipalma) is interested in promoting good practices and good agronomy amongst the Colombian palm growers in such a way that they can overcome the various problems that arise. In particular, those related to plagues and infections of their crops, which have attacked them, with an unusual ferocity in the last few years, especially Bud Rot. In this presentation we point out the progress and achievements of Cenipalma that the producers should take on board in order to carry out the task in hand. Useful and new actions that the entity carried out in 2008 and those that it will undertake in the future are described.
