Early identification and integrated management of the bud rot disease
The palm oil crop is under attack in a very aggressive manner by Bud Rot in certain areas of Colombia. The Corporation Center for Research on Palm Oil (Cenipalma) recently discovered the causal agent of the infection and has continued to investigate the issue. In this presentation we show the results of these studies and offer a guide for the early identification of PC, precisely because our experience has shown that if this is done when there are a lower number of cases the implementation of good management practices will be successful.
