Biodiesel, climate change and Sustainability

Interest in bio-fuels suddenly blossomed in 2005/6, and there are now literally scores of bio-fuels plants being built or planned around the world. However, there may be good and bad periods, depending upon the price of petroleum and possible technological advances in other forms of bio-fuels and alternative energy generation. Anyway, the world petroleum industry is unsustainable in the long term because it is clear that the supply of petroleum oil will fall further and further below the rapidly growing maximum potential demand. However, even if petroleum were in ample supply for the foreseeable future, it could not be used freely because of its climate changes effects, which in the long term are much more serious than questions of prices

However, even if petroleum were in ample supply for the foreseeable future, it could not be used freely because of its climate changes effects, which in the long term are much more serious than questions of prices En los últimos años ha crecido el interés por los procesos para la producción de biocombustibles a partir de aceites vegetales, y en la actualidad se están construyendo y proyectando muchas plantas de biocombustible en el mundo.
