Treatment of Soybeans Seeds and their Influence on the Physiological Quality During Storage
Treatment of soybean seeds is a recommended technique to protect them against biotic and abiotic factors that may affect their physiological and genetic quality. The objective of this work was to evaluate the physiological quality of soybean seeds, cultivar NK 7059 RR, during storage, after treatment with 11 different mixtures including fungicides, insecticides, micronutrients, nematicides, growth regulators and polymers. The experiment was conducted on a completely randomized design with four replicates. It was observed that the treatment of seeds with volumes of preparations greater than 750 mL 100 kg-1 of seeds negatively affected the physiological quality of the seeds. Most germination results were higher than 80 %, proving that it is possible to perform seed treatment with the different mixtures evaluated, and store them for up to 180 days as long as the volume of the preparation used for the treatment is considered.
