En los últimos años el turismo ha adquirido mayor importancia en el desarrollo, destacando el turismo cultural el cual es considerado un fenómeno social, vinculado a la herencia histórica del patrimonio cultural contribuyendo al desarrollo de los territorios. Se abordó el impacto económico, social y cultural desde la percepción de los actores locales y se apoyó en el concepto desarrollo territorial rural y en la teoría del intercambio social y las representaciones sociales. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar el impacto económico, social y cultural del turismo en un municipio rural. La investigación fue de tipo transversal y se aplicó un cuestionario a 54 comerciantes cercanos a los atractivos turísticos del lugar. Se encontró que los entrevistados son personas adultas, con una escolaridad superior a la secundaria, la principal actividad de los entrevistados es la prestación de servicios turísticos como la venta de comida y el comercio. En el análisis del impacto económico la mayoría de entrevistados no pagó impuestos, pero proporcionan cooperaciones económicas a organizaciones de la localidad. El impacto de la actividad turística en sus ingresos ha sido poco o regular (76%) y el porcentaje restante opinó que ha sido entre alto y muy alto. Los impactos negativos en el aspecto social y cultural del turismo no son tan evidentes como en los espacios de sol y playa, pero si comienzan a notarse fundamentalmente en la contaminación (basura) y en su vestimenta y en menor medida mencionaron que aumentó el tráfico vehicular, los precios a productos que se venden en la localidad y su forma de comunicarse oralmente. Se concluye que el turismo cultural es una alternativa de desarrollo para los habitantes de la comunidad y que los impactos sociales y culturales negativos que acarrea son aun incipientes. El turismo religioso tiene un mejor desarrollo económico en el municipio y por lo tanto, tiene un mayor impacto social y cultural. _______________ CULTURAL TOURISM: A RURAL TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NATIVITAS, TLAXCALA. ABSTRACT: In recent years tourism has become more important in development, highlighting cultural tourism which is considered a social phenomenon, linked to the historical heritage of cultural heritage contributing to the development of territories. The economic, social and cultural impact was addressed from the perception of local actors and was based on the concept of rural territorial development and on the theory of social exchange and social representations. The objective of the research was to analyze the economic, social and cultural impact of tourism in a rural municipality. The research was cross-sectional and a questionnaire was applied to 54 merchants near the tourist attractions of the place. It was found that the interviewees are adults, with higher than secondary schooling, the main activity of the interviewees is the provision of tourist services such as food sales and commerce. In the analysis of the economic impact, the majority of interviewees did not pay taxes, but they provide economic cooperation to local organizations. The impact of tourism activity on their income has been little or regular (76%) and the remaining percentage thought it was between high and very high. The negative impacts on the social and cultural aspect of tourism are not as evident as in the sun and beach areas, but if they begin to be noticed mainly in pollution (garbage) and in their clothing and to a lesser extent they mentioned that vehicular traffic increased , the prices to products that are sold in the locality and their way of communicating orally. It is concluded that cultural tourism is an alternative development for the inhabitants of the community and that the negative social and cultural impacts that it brings are still incipient.
