Scheduling based on midday stem water potential (SWP) with a water deficit period during pit hardening was performed in 4 irrigation treatments: Control treatment, consisted in optimal plant water status: -1.4 MPa from beginning pit hardening until harvest; RDI-1: -2 MPa until harvest; RDI-2: -3.5 MPa and early recovery at the beginning of August; RDI-3: -3.5 MPa until harvest. The results showed different levels of water stress and several durations at pit hardening. Fruit yield and quality was studied and not significances differences were found.
