BRS FC406: cultivar de feijoeiro-comum carioca com grãos grandes, alto potencial produtivo, resistência à antracnose e à mancha-angular.
A cultivar BRS FC406 originou-se do cruzamento entre as linhagens FEB 212 e VAX 4, realizado Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical (CIAT), em Cali, Colômbia. Em 2003 foram introduzidas no Brasil 28 linhagens obtidas, as quais foram multiplicadas em telados. No ano de 2004, na época de inverno, em Santo Antônio de Goiás, GO, as linhagens foram multiplicadas no campo e, em 2005, avaliadas, selecionando-se a linhagem LMC 205202963 (OXI-16).
