Comparative study of seeds of crucifers of the genera Lepidium, Eruca, Diplotaxis and Sinapis. II. Characterization of sterols.
Analysis of the seeds of L. sativum, E. sativa, D. tenuisiliqua and S. arvensis identified 7 sterols, 2 of which were found in all 4 species. E. sativa, D. tenuisiliqua and S. arvensis contained the same 3 sterols in similar proportions.
