Wheat technologies and the impact of AKRSP wheat development in the double cropping zone of Gilgit, 1988-89

This report combines two studies that were undertaken in 1989 to assess the impact of the wheat development efforts of the AKRSP, Gilgit. The first study was undertaken to provide quantitative data on farmers' use of key wheat technologies for the 1988-89 wheat crop. The second study drew upon this, and earlier "crop cut" survey data for 1985 and 1986, to assess the impact of the wheat efforts on farmers' incomes.
