Data collection, site selection and farmer participation in on-farm experimentation
This paper contains suggestions for improving data collection during on-farm experimentation. Besides providing agronomic data, the experimental phase of on-farm research can be a source of other valuable information. Methods are described for selecting sites and farmer collaborators, eliciting information from farmers and taking field notes to help complement the agronomic data
