Where's The Weevil?
Francis Kadja Sanhou, s/c Kouaho Etchien, BP 7230 Abidjan 18, Côte d'lvoire: 'The problem of 'water lettuce, (Spore 62 in French, and Spore 63 in English) is indeed very worrying for us. It makes some rivers, and lagoons especially, difficult to navigate, not to mention depriving fish of oxygen. How, and where, can we get hold of the water weevil (Neobydronomus affinis), the water lettuce's natural enemy?' Spore: Readers are invited to send their advice directly to Mr Sanhou.
