CATIE - Centro Agronómico Tropical de Investigación y Enseñanza CONCIENCIA SOCIAL PARTICIPACIÓN COMUNITARIA INVESTIGACIÓN PARTICIPATIVA SERVICIOS DE EXTENSIÓN EXPERIMENTACIÓN DESARROLLO RURAL SISTEMAS AGROFORESTALES AMERICA CENTRAL Sede Central ilustraciones, tablas Los objetivos de este segundo taller fueron: 1) crear un espacio para intercambiar experiencias promisorias en materia de IP, dentro y fuera de CATIE, para establecer su significado, alcances y límites; 2) aclarar los conceptos e instrumentos de IP para facilitar su aplicación práctica; 3) aclarar las implicaciones institucionales de la aplicación de IP; 4) establecer un compromiso y mecanismos operativos para visibilizar la incorporación de IP en los planes y actividades de CATIE. El taller se enfocó en cinco facetas relacionadas con la IP: los conceptos y métodos, actores, aspectos institucionales, vinculación de IP con servicios de extensión y factores condicionantes a nivel macro.
