Efficient gap-closure of eukaryotic genome sequence assemblies by third-generation sequencing.

Recently, we produced the first draft assemblies of Guzerá and Gir genomes. Two Zebu (Bos indicus) breeds adapted to tropical climate and under genetic evaluation to milk purposes in Brazil.
