Proximal femoral head transcriptome reveals novel candidate genes related to epiphysiolysis in broiler chickens.
In order to investigate the molecular events taking place during the onset and development of the epiphysiolysis in fast-growing chickens, the present study used the RNA-Seq technology to identify differentially expressed genes in the proximal femur head of normal and FHS-affected broilers.
