The International Center for Tropical Agriculture (known as CIAT from its Spanish name ‘Centro Internacional de Agricultura Tropical’) is the legal name of the research team and infrastructure which is now part of [https://alliancebioversityciat.org/ the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT], since the two [https://www.cgiar.org/ CGIAR] centers joined forces in 2019.
