INBIO.
Resumen: A key to the genera of Eumolpinae (Chrysomelidae) known to occur in Central America, Mexico, and Panama is presented. This is followed by notes for each genus and a list of described species. The genus Megascelis and the subfamily Megascelinae are included in the Eumolpinae. The genus Phytospinthera Monros and Bechyné is synonomized with Metaparia Crotch. Colaspis bifasciata Jacoby is transfered to Adorea Lefevre; Spintherophyta cupriceps Lefevre to Brachypnoea Gistel; Colaspis consanguinea Blake to Cayetunya Bechyné; Noda distincta Jacoby, N. fulvicornis Jacoby and N. laevicollis Jacoby, Spintherophyta cephalotes Lefevre, S. guatemalenis Jacoby, S. hybrida Jacoby, S. leseuri Lefevre, S. thoracica Jacoby, and S. violacea Jacoby to Metaparia Crotch; Prionodera amasia (Marshall), P. hirtipennis Jacoby, P. limbata Jacoby, and P. salvini Jacoby to Metaxyonycha Chevrolat; Rhabdopterus jansoni Jacoby and R. mexicanus Jacoby to Rhabdocolaspis Bechyné; Colaspis panamensis Blake and C. uncotibialis Blake to Rhabdopterus Lefevre; Chrysodina pilosa Lefevre to Tricospinethera Bechyné & Bechyné.
